"Who the heck is Kenzie?"
Well, I’m glad you asked!
My name is Kenzie Houllahan, (or Mackenzie Linda Houllahan if you want to be fancy) and I’m from Warwick, Rhode Island. I’m a graduate of the graphic design program at Johnson & Wales University in Providence, Rhode Island. I specialize in what I call the “weird and wonderful” corners of design that seeks to break traditions and follow a more pop-art and sometimes surrealist style. My ultimate goal in the design world is to work in board game design and toy packaging, and eventually create a board game of my own.
However, I also love creating more serious, advocacy-based designs that spread awareness about causes that I want to educate others on, such as feminism, queer rights, bereavement, and overall mental health. Expressive arts and art-based advocacy has always interested me and helped me through several pivotal points of my life, so I seek to continue this work for others.
Anyways, thank you for reading my shpiel about myself and I hope you enjoy my website! If you want to see more of my day-to-day, follow me on Instagram @khoullydesign!
